Presentation by Racha El-Dib
Racha El-Dib is the President and Founder of Nadia’s Hope Foundation. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree, majoring in Sociology from Mount Royal University, as well as a Human Resource Management Certificate from the University of Calgary. She started the organization after the loss of her sister Nadia, in a case of domestic violence in Calgary, March 2018. Her hope is to continue Nadia’s legacy by helping people and sharing her story and raising awareness. Racha has done many public speaking events, and has partnered with the Airdrie RCMP to host presentations in their high schools on healthy relationships, as well as partnering with local organizations to help them raise funds. Her hope is to use this tragedy to empower and help educate people on what can be toxic traits in abusive relationships. Nadia’s story is an important one to tell, knowing that we can save others.
